Try to Work Through It

Writer's picture: Kim GravesKim Graves

I started a new scrapbook using Graphic 45's Woodland Friends paper line.

I am having a hard time figuring out how to make the papers work and look good. I have done a project with these papers once before. I do not remember having trouble putting those pages together.

I didn't do much yesterday hoping that the creative juices would flow today. Can't say that has happened. I decided to stop working on the pages. I am watching Kathy King's (Paper Phenomenon) 1 Sheet Show Off Series. It is a 10 part tutorial that shows how to make really cool and interactive photo mats. I decided to work on a few of those to add to the scrapbook. I am thinking that may help with the pages. It is a wait and see moment.

I need to do some cleaning tomorrow so I don't know how much time I will have to work on things.

The good news is the weather has been really good for this time of year. I have seen a bee and a butterfly and perennials are coming to life.

That's all for now.

No, I don't have any scraps left over from the previous project. I looked through my photos hoping I had them to look at. I take a lot of photos to add to my posts but for some reason not any of that scrapbook.

Smart to set it aside. It will just take one or two elements to come together and the whole thing will flow like a river. Do you have scraps from the previous project you can play with, maybe a collage or small master board to see something new? Good luck!
