I spent most of the day adding the finishing touches to this master board. It has a little bit of everything. I added stamping, decoupage images, labels, lace, material, splatters, and washi tape. I finished it with stitching with some gold thread. When I have made these in the past I have turned them over and cut them up. When you do it that way you get what you get. This time I selected images that I wanted to keep as focal points so I was deliberate with my cutting. I now have plenty of embellishments to add to the pages of the journal.
I did get accepted into a new festival that takes place in September. I will be at the Country Applefest in Lebanon, Ohio at the Warren County Fairground. It will be held on September 23 and 24. I am excited to be some place new this year. Details of all my events will be announced as we get closer to each one. It should be an exciting year!
