It is the most wonderful time of the year. But, it also the busiest time of the year for lots of us.
I did most of my shopping on Black Friday. I think I only went in person shopping one other time. I did quite a bit of on-line shopping again this year. Everything is wrapped except for one present.
I got the holiday decorating finished the weekend after Thanksgiving. The annual cookie bake with my daughter and grandkids was last Sunday. With four of them either in college or working I didn't think we would be able to find a date when everyone could be there, but we did. Makes for a long day. We make monster cookies, peanut butter blossoms, and buckeyes. We usually try something new every year. This year we made a sandwich cookie made with Ritz crackers, peanut butter and marshmallow cream filling and then dipped in chocolate.
My wedding anniversary is December 21, my husband's birthday is December 23, and my youngest grandson's birthday is December 24! Makes for a busy week for sure.
I have been cleaning up my scrapbook room. It was such a mess. It was just easier to pile things on the floor rather than putting things away. I found several paper lines that I forgot that I had and am looking forward to designing with them. I can actually see my desk top now. I am taking some supplies that I won't be using to a local skilled nursing facility for the clients there.
I think they will find a good use for them.
I wish for you a healthy holiday season filled with joy and warm memories.
Kim
