The fall craft fair season is in full swing. Labor Day weekend brought the Holiday at Home Festival.
Next weekend, September 23 and 24 is The Country Apple Festival in Lebanon, Ohio. This is a new event for me and I am anxious to see how I do.
The first weekend in October is The Lakota West PTSO Craft Fair. The second weekend in October is the BIG one-The Ohio Sauerkraut Festival in Waynesville, Ohio. I hope I can get enough projects done between now and then.
I have two one day events in November. The crunch to create will ease up and I will be able to try some new things during the winter. I am anxious to get a few more journals made-they really take a lot of time to complete. I also am going to try some painting with alcohol inks. I think that technique will make some extra special journal covers and journaling cards.
I am currently working on a Christmas scrapbook using an older Graphic 45 paper line, Joy to the World. I wasn't sure how to make the papers work together, but once I got started things fell into place quite easily.
I think for the next project I will use some Authentique paper that I still have in my stash. I was disappointed when they closed. They had some really unique paper lines. Too many of our scrapbook companies have closed their doors.
Which paper companies do you wish would come back?
