Back to Creating

The weather forecast for the Labor Day weekend was not good. They were calling for 70-80% chance of storms. We did get the rain. For the most part it rained in the middle of the night. The last day of the Holiday at Home Festival was almost over and then it started. We got a pretty good down fall. I was able to get everything wrapped up and boxed before it got bad. My canopy was soaked but my projects were all safe. I have been extremely lucky with the weather. I only have one more outside event this year with three being inside.

I sold three albums this weekend and that is about my normal amount.

Yesterday I let things dry out and got everything put away. Quite a job, for sure.

Today I am back to creating. I am working with Graphic 45's Flora and Fauna papers. My goal is to get this one finished by Sunday. I have two more inside pages to mat and make photo mats for. Then I need to do the covers and hinges.

Next up will be a couple of albums with Christmas papers- I had two people ask this weekend if I had any of those. Sadly, not right now, but soon.

Saturday I am going to my first Ohio State football game with my granddaughter, Rachel, who is a freshman there. I am really looking forward to being able to experience the vibe and seeing the Ohio State Band perform in person!

My next event is Lakota West Craft Show on October 1 and 2. I will be putting in a lot of hours getting ready between now and then. I will not be able to add any new scrapbooks to the store until after the fall event season is over. If you are looking for something let me know and I will see what I can do for you.

Until next time, goodbye!
