This scrapbook has been coming together quickly. I started on this one the beginning of the week and hope to finish it up this weekend. I am using an older Heartfelt Creations paper line called Floral Fashionista.
The weather here in Ohio has been really strange this year. I know the start of winter was frigid and snowy. Since then we have been unseasonably warm and dry. I am afraid that we will get hit with late cold temps and snow or if it means we will have a strange spring and summer.
I applied for a new festival scheduled for this fall. Once I hear back on it I will be ready to post the schedule here. It is shaping up to be another busy year for me. One of my granddaughters is still playing travel softball. This will be her last year as she will be off to college in the fall. She has tournaments just about every weekend in June and July, so I will be at the ball fields on the weekends. Will work on scrapbooks and journals during the week. I know I need to have more projects completed going into this year's festivals.
After I finish this scrapbook I am going to do another journal. I am wanting to use Distress Oxides in grays, Iced Spruce, and Aged Mahogany with some acrylic paints Payne's Gray, Pearl Space Gray, Cold Gray, Pearl Glacier Blue, Silver, and Bordeaux Red. I really don't know if those colors will work together but I am excited to give it a try.
What colors have you challenged yourself to try together? Would you say it was a success?
